Halloween

Okay I know this is be-lated but I have been pre-occupied with finishing our kitchen remodel. (Posting of the complete remodel process coming soon!) Anyways this Halloween was none the less full of fun, family, friends, and loads of laughter. Bobbing for apples, gunny sack races, pinata, and costume contest where everyone was a winner, were just a few of our festivities. This party is definitely becoming a tradition in the Pence household. For all those that were unable to make it this year we hope to see you next year.

The family Halloween photo didn't come out in focus cause we were taking these in the dark and with my high tech camera this is about what you get. In case you were wondering Andy is John McEnroe and I went as a toga.
This was Layla at the end of the night finding candy left behind by the older kids.
Andy handing out costume prizes to all. With Andy you know it was a comedian act.
Cindy as the beautiful Homecoming Queen/Princess.
Michelle the gypsy and her darling pig.
Grandma Pence as a skeleton. As you can tell Andy had us all rolling with laughter.
Dane and Kelsey as Alice and Mad Hatter. They won the most unique costume which was most deserving.

Racing to the finish line.

Izabel and Elly showing off there costumes.
Got to love Dad in the old clown costume. It sure did bring back a lot of old memories of the Blackhurst Halloweens.
The Zickgraf family minus Adam. (I don't know what happened to Fords eye in this photo.)
The adorable newlyweds.
The most creative Madarieta Family.
The Ogden family that dared to brave the Pence and Blackhurst brood.
Aunt Kristie as the tooth fairy and our little chick.

Summer Time In Rewind

I know everyone says this but "Where did the summer go?" This summer was exciting none the less with birthdays, camping, reunions, sun, sand, and the list goes on. Now it is back to the routine of life with school and work. Below are some pictures from the last few months but for some reason I missed taking pictures of the Blackhurst reunion and the camping adventure with some friends. I guess I have been selective with bringing out the camera. Or maybe the pictures that were taken were when I remembered to capture the moment. Regardless, it has been one memorable summer.

Layla's first birthday party at the pool. I can't believe she is already one.

Campfire at the Ogden cabin. Elly loves the campfire and s'mores of course.

Hanging with the Ogdens. (Michelle, Devin, and Ava)

Hiking with Dad.

Cinnamon Roll anyone? Elly and Ava enjoyed this monster of a cinnamon roll at the pancake house in McCall.

Elly celebrates her fourth birthday with a cookie party. Yum! Yum!!

Hanging out at Sandy Pointe at the beginning of the summer.

Layla eating a handful of sand.

Island Park

This past Memorial Day weekend we decided to take a road trip to Island Park/West Yellowstone to see the Munns family and have some family fun. We had such a good time riding four-wheelers, playing games, hiking, laughing, and eating good food. Thanks Munns family for showing us a good time!!! It was definitely worth the trip and can't wait to do it again.

We took this same picture in the same spot about three years ago when Elly was first born. Time sure does fly by.

This is us right before our family four-wheeling adventure. We saw deer and some other animal that Tyson wanted to hunt down through the brush. You were a trooper Ally!

Layla in the infamous sling. She loves being all cuddled up next to mom. No wonder she is such a momma's girl.

Elly surprised us once again by loving to ride the four-wheeler. She loved to go fast with her dad. In fact she would have Andy stop and then gun it as fast as he could and she would scream with excitement.
Love'n Life!!!

Got to love the girls with goggles. These girls had so much fun playing all weekend long.

These guys hit a few mud puddles if you couldn't tell. And of course they loved every minute of it. Thanks again Munns for the great weekend.

The Photographers

Well Elly and Izabel got a hold of the camera the other day and this is what they captured.

Of course Elly the poser!!

Silly girls.

Posing again??? Izabel is one good photographer.

Not a bad eye Elly.

Layla is close to crawling but this is what she looks like most days.

The best auntie in the world coming to visit on her lunch break. We love when Kristie comes by to brighten our day!!!

Oooops! Cut off Kristies head. At least you all get a glimpse of Laylas teeth. We think it is adorable.
